How the Asian Handicap Calculator Works
The calculator applies your chosen handicap line to the final score and determines the outcome of your bet. It handles all handicap types including whole numbers (where pushes are possible), half numbers (clear win or lose), and quarter numbers (where your stake is split between two lines, allowing half wins and half losses).
Whole number lines (0, ±1, ±2)
If the adjusted score is level, your stake is returned (push). Otherwise you win or lose.
Half number lines (±0.5, ±1.5)
No push possible — the half goal ensures a clear winner every time.
Quarter lines (±0.25, ±0.75)
Your stake splits between two adjacent lines. You can get a half win or half loss.
Decimal odds
Enter odds in decimal format (e.g. 1.90). Your potential payout = stake × odds.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate Asian Handicap winnings?
Multiply your stake by the decimal odds to get your total payout if you win. Subtract your original stake to get the profit. For example, $100 at 1.90 odds = $190 payout and $90 profit. For quarter lines, your stake is split in half between two adjacent handicaps and each half is calculated separately.
What does a push mean in Asian Handicap?
A push means your stake is returned to you — you don't win or lose anything. This happens on whole-number handicap lines (0, ±1, ±2) when the adjusted score is exactly level after applying the handicap.
How do quarter handicaps work?
Quarter handicaps like ±0.25 and ±0.75 split your stake equally between two adjacent lines. For example, -0.75 splits your bet between -0.5 and -1.0. Each half is settled independently, which means you can get a half win (one half wins, one half pushes) or a half loss.
What odds format should I use?
This calculator uses decimal odds, which is the standard format for Asian Handicap markets. If your bookmaker shows fractional or American odds, use our odds converter on the tools page to convert them first.
Is this calculator free to use?
Yes, completely free with no signup required. Use it as many times as you want to practice different scenarios before placing real bets.
Which team is Team A in the calculator?
Team A is the team you are backing with the handicap. If you're betting on Arsenal -1.0, Arsenal is Team A. Enter Arsenal's score in the 'Your Team Score' field and the opponent's score in the 'Opponent Score' field.
